We look forward to welcoming you again starting in mid-February 2027.
Reservations will open sometime in January.
While the shelter is closed, the Simond Shelter is open!
There are about 15 spots available, along with blankets and pillows. The door has been repaired. Please take good care of it! Please carry your trash back down to the valley in your backpacks. Thank you.
It will close as soon as we open: from mid-February through the end of September.
Cosmiques Mountain Hut
Cosmiques mountain hut
is the second highest mountain refuge in France! It’s located at 3,613 meters on the Col du Midi glacier in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. Open from mid-February to the end of September and accessible in less than an hour from the Aiguille du Midi, it serves as a strategic starting point for iconic climbs such as the Mont Blanc via the Three Monts, the Vallée Blanche, the Cosmiques Ridge, and many others.

NIGHT ALONE
There is no designated picnic area, but if there are empty tables, you can sit in the dining room and enjoy your picnic. (Please note: the camping stove is for use on the terrace only.)

VIP ROOM
In addition to half-board, you have the option to book a private room with a double bed (maximum 2 people).
