The Cosmiques hut is now open !
We are happy to welcome you until septembre 26th.
During the refuge’s opening period, the Simond shelter is closed.
It will reopen as soon as we close : from late september until mid-february.
Cosmiques Mountain Hut
Cosmiques mountain hut
is the second highest mountain refuge in France! It’s located at 3,613 meters on the Col du Midi glacier in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. Open from mid-February to the end of September and accessible in less than an hour from the Aiguille du Midi, it serves as a strategic starting point for iconic climbs such as the Mont Blanc via the Three Monts, the Vallée Blanche, the Cosmiques Ridge, and many others.

NIGHT ALONE
There is no designated picnic area, but if there are empty tables, you can sit in the dining room and enjoy your picnic. (Please note: the camping stove is for use on the terrace only.)

Includes dinner, overnight stay (in a dormitory or VIP room)
and breakfast buffet
available according to your
departure time.
VIP ROOM
In addition to half-board, you have the option to book a private room with a double bed (maximum 2 people).
